- We have been raising boer goat since 2006. We are working towards excellence in breed character, breed standards, longevity, good mothering abilities, exceptional daily rate of gains, etc; you know, the "perfect" meat goat! We have many years of livestock experience with dairy goats, and beef cattle. The boer goats have been our newest adventure and we are excited and proud of the direction we are heading. We have purchased some very strong foundation does and some exceptional bucks as the base for our boer herd. We do try to get out to a few shows a year to see where we stand with the competition and enjoy the folks who love the goat industry as we do. We strongly favor the "old style" boers with wide, capacious, deep bodies, defined muscling, solid feet and legs, level toplines and good bone. You can check our website at www.bomaboers.com.
